Young Lotus: Heritage Site of 2216
This was our entry to the Young Lotus competition back in the 2016, back when this nightclub was still popular enough to be considered a primary cultural place for the youth. (Nightclubs have such shorter shelf-lives than bread.)
The brief was about instilling the relevance of national heritage sites to the youth. To crack this brief, we stopped thinking about the past and looked into the future. With the invention of Heritage Sites for year 2216, our target audience gets put in the same shoes as people in the past. If they can feel it happen to them, it suddenly becomes important.
